Merry Christmas! From Hunter, Kylie, Jonathan, Benjamin and Samuel Ramachenderan (L-R) 25–12–19

Lord, you are above all circumstances, but you are in every moment.

There is nothing that is impossible for you, for you are with us through every struggle.

The wind and the waves, the sun and the stars are all under your command. But yet you call us by name and declare us daughters and sons.

Our Dad, our Father, our everlasting God, all glory to you!

Our hope is no one else.

Not one can ever come close. You are God, you are Lord, you are our newborn King!

The Lord watches over all, his love knows no bounds.

The immigrant, the refugee, the widow and her children, the lonely, the ashamed, the prisoner, the infirm, the fatherless and those far from him, he loves them all dearly.

To those cast aside, to those not included, to those who are anxious and to those who are mad, to those who struggle to get up today and those who wish their lives away, God is here and he loves you so.

He is our Father, he is our God, he is our personal Saviour, he is our newborn King.

Our hope is in no one else.

In desperate times and in raging conflict.

In drought and in fearsome flames, God is our JOY, he is our SONG, he is our ROCK and our SALVATION that the world cannot take away.

In the moments of our deepest grief and sorrow, he is our comfort and our compassion. He is our hiding place and green pasture and He is our still water and strong tower.

Under the greatest attack and dripping vitriol, Lord you are our refuge and deliverer. Your favour surrounds us like a shield.

We stand untouched and unharmed.

May our lives be a burning bush for your Lord. Remarkable and spirit-filled, strong and courageous, full of fruit and saturated in your goodness.

Let us sing of your possible impossibilities and face the storms of life with courage.

Our hope is in no one else.

This Christmas we celebrate you O God and we rejoice in your birth!

For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace!
Isaiah 9:6

Lord, I am thankful that you rescued me. I ran so hard away from you for so many years.

My shame, my guilt, everything I tried to hide deep down inside of me, you knew it all….and yet you still loved me.

I remember the day I broke down and wept and asked you to save me.

And you did.

You loved me recklessly.

You forgave me endlessly.

You blessed me immeasurably.

You restored my hope.

So this day I rejoice and celebrate your birth for without your peace, your love and your hope we would be endlessly lost.

Our hope is in no one else.

Happiness may come in the presents we receive and the family that gather near.

But JOY comes only our salvation, from your unwavering love for us.

The scandalous grace that you measurelessly poured upon us — unlimited, immeasurable, unconditional, unmerited free and powerful grace.

That you God would send your son Jesus as a helpless baby, born to poor parents, to be the saviour of the world!

To perform signs and wonders. To teach us how to pray. To show us how to love one another and to let us know the way.

We walk in the joy of being your children.

Happy Birthday, Lord Jesus!

Reign in our hearts, shine in our lives.

Empower your church and may the Good News of the Gospel spread throughout the earth.

Merry Christmas!

Love from the Ramachenderan family.

Live intentionally.

Love relentlessly.

Enjoy your life.
